Final Exam & Grading
The CCS-P certification test is a seated exam that is not available online. At the completion of the program, and following your authorization to test, you will take your examination at a Thomson Prometric testing center. You are allowed to use CPT, ICD 9 and HCPCS along with an optional medical dictionary. The testing metrics follow the modified Angoff procedure. It is comprised of 60 multiple-choice questions followed by 16 case study questions. The maximum allotted time for the exam is 4 hours.
