Accelerated Coding Certification Program
The Medical Management Institute is proud to offer the three-day Medical Coding Certification Intensive course. The course is specifically designed to prepare students for medical coding certification examinations as quickly as possible while still retaining the maximum amount of knowledge. This course was created with our students’ busy schedules in mind, but be assured that the course is very thorough and it covers the most up-to-date information relating to the CPT and ICD-9-CM procedural and diagnostic coding.
Description of Services
The Accelerated Coding Certification Program is a fast paced program that will last three full days. The course is based on pure academic coding, with each of the sections of the ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCSII manuals reviewed in an 18-24 hour format. The course will teach students to turn medical documentation into the appropriate codes in order to gather, interpret, and code medical records.
Before the course begins, it will be necessary for students to look over and study their pre-course materials (including Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy) for preparation. Students will also be asked to complete nightly homework assignments between classes.
