2021 Billing for Prolonged Services Webinar

Now Available On Demand

Hasn’t it been an exciting year thus far in translating the guidelines for E/M office and other outpatient services?

2021 also brings with it new CPT prolonged services codes for use only with 99205 and 99215 and changes the rules for face-to-face prolonged care codes 99354, 99355 and non-face-to-face prolonged care codes 99358, 99359. Complicating the use of the new CPT prolonged services code is that CMS has a difference in opinion on the time thresholds than those published in the draft CPT document.

During this 90-minute webinar, instructor Rhonda Granja, RMC,CMA, CMC, CPC, CMOM will describe how to use the new prolonged services codes, show the time thresholds published (as of the date of the webinar) by CPT and CMS and describe the changes to the existing face-to-face, and non-face-to-face prolonged care codes.  We will work to simplify this and make it easier to digest.
